Your Favorite Local Family Photographer

From the time I was 16, I have had a camera around my neck, determined to replicate the beauty of the images in my magizines. I spent many years playing with light, messing up and taking pictures of anyone that would allow me to bug them! I always looked at pictures as something fun I did, nothing that could seriously play a role in my life. I couldnt help but minor in photography while I was in school persuing my degree in Special Education. I was fortunate enought to have my parents sponsor a study abroad trip to Italy where I took, "intro to watercolor" and "history of italian renissance art." I spent every spare second exploring Florence with a very special photography professor that was just, "along for the ride, because Italy was in his blood." He told me I was going to do photography and encouraged me to make it more then just something I played with.

Shortly after I returned, a family friend said "your gonna take my kids senior pictures, and I'm gonna pay you." and it kind of seems like it has all been whirlwind since then. I began photographing professionally in the summer of 2010. Under my first business name- LVK Photography, I spent 12 years photographing weddings, babies, families, seniors and even a few births! My style and my preference for genres of photography has evolved while I have had the pleasure of experienceing pretty much every type of photography in the industry.
